Raveningham Country Fair

Displays of full size and model steam engine, stationary engines, classic cars, old tractors, working displays, steam threshing, bygone and model displays, ring events, Beer tent with real ales, Refurbishment and tea tent, Birds of Prey, working Horse displays, Tug of war competition, Martial Arts demos, Clown acts, Punch and Judy, bouncy castle, donkey rides, dog show, terrier racing, ferret displays, Viking encampment, dance displays, dance troops, and a large selection of trade stalls.
There will be live music through out the day, and there will be evening entertainment in the beer tent on the Saturday night (all welcome).Adults £5 under 16’s free. There really is something for every one at this traditional fair, that was started back in 1977 at the Raveningham Threshing Fair, that still raises money for not only the Raveningham Group of Churches, but also local good needs and charities. ALL of the organising teem are volunteers.

The Raveningham Fair site will be located just off the B1136 between Loddon and Haddiscoe – turn south towards Beccles just opposite the signpost to Thurlton, near Gazes, and will be sign posted from the B1136, A143, and the A146. The fair starts at 11am, and while the main part of the fair winds down around half 5, the entertainment in the beer tent is only just warming up, and the bar is open until the music stops around half 10.
